Just got the wife a S&W M&P 380 and she wants to go shooting all the time now, but I can't find any ammo... Ordered 250 rounds on Bass Pro, but they just cancelled the order.

Right now, every demand just gets rubber stamped on through. The problem with that is there is no end to the demands. The end game is a complete reversal where whites are ostracized like the blacks were pre Civil rights. That's what they want. And the dumbass white apologists go right on with it, as though they are into some sort of weird guilt ridden self deprecation.

Keep in mind this is for very specific shooting and the rifles are on the extreme side. They are built for super high pressures and have long barrels (32" in my case). The load is developed around the specific rifle and likely my load will end up being over 55 grains of H4831sc. Run those through an average .284 and you will smoke the barrel in short order and be lucky that's the worst you do. Also, keep in mind F Open caliber choice is just as decisive as the 9mm/.40/10mm discussion with the internet pistol guys.
My point being with a stock rifle and commercial ammo a .308 is one of the better long-range rounds but that just doesn't relate directly to F Open but .308 is the "only" choice for F-TR 'cause ain't nobody smart gonna shoot .223.
