Not sure. Let’s tag up on this later when we have time to circle back.

Gonna get a bit buzzwordy here bc I've seen how this kinda thing can rock the boat, both good and bad.

No judgment at all—I'm no expert on your setup. Sounds like there might be a culture issue going on though? If you're in a leadership spot, maybe you could nudge it in a positive direction?

A culture of trust, empathy, open comms, and teamwork is just plain better for everyone. It makes the biz function like a well-oiled machine, and it’s a mindset that’s top down. Tough to build & maintain, but totally worth it. My best, most fun, and most rewarding work moments were bred from operating under principles where people and culture are front and center.

In my world, collaborating with other teams is a necessity. Understanding their needs and journeys helps me help them as well as customers. I can’t say enough how impactful it is when others can depend on me and I on them without letting egos get in the way. When everyone is on the same page and truly willing/able to support one another, magic happens.

I still contend that this was a better alternative than having a damn brick in you pocket.

In education, it's "student success." Now what that exactly means and how you achieve that success are completely subjective haha

That’s the point.

Student success used to be gauged on whether they made honor roll. Now success is completely subjective and based on the individual

Under the new definition of “success”, a traditionally 1.0 student can be considered successful if they raise up to a 1.1

Sometimes success can even be claimed when a student completes a project even if it’s a failed grade

"onboarding"

An employee onboarding process is a structured approach to welcome new hires to your team and get them up to speed. During onboarding, employees learn about your organization and its culture, get to know their teammates, meet cross-functional partners, and learn the tools and information they need for their role.
