The word "ecosystem" seems to get tossed around a lot.

"Maintain an inclusive culture" as code for DEI initiatives.

"Sharpen the pencil" (meaning to lower prices) has also come back in style with the economic turmoil across the country.

"Agile" as a positive description for any process during discussions to upend company norms.

These threads are my favorite. I do think “synergy” is finally starting to stale out

“Convergence. Viral marketing. We're going guerrilla. We're takin' it to the streets while keeping an eye on the street. Wall Street. I don't want to reinvent the wheel here. In other words, it is what it is.”

That is the best decision for the whole enterprise.

Let’s flesh out this idea.

Buzzword bingo. My favorite game to play at meetings.

Edited because voice to text sucks.

When my team starts to use these buzzwords, I call everything either shite or stuff.

“Hey did you finish that shite from earlier”

“Ok guys where are we on the stuff”

They will say could you be more specific.

“You know, that shite from earlier that we talked about.” Then I’ll just walk off.

Yeah. I’ve heard this phrase dating back to my childhood, 30+ years ago.

Not a new term actually. It's a term used alot in prison.

You're not wrong at all, just that it's suddenly gained tons of traction with the "cool kids" and is being used ad nauseam, which is exceptionally annoying

Truly cringeworthy. Absolutely makes my stomach churn when I hear that phrase.

I probably hate spearheaded more than any of them.

Those words in general are nothing but crap that makes people think they are important
