I've been out of the game for a few years now. When I left off, it was...

• circle back

• robust

• unpack

• aligning synergy while thinking outside the box at the end of the day

Has it gotten even more silly and annoying?

This one is about as "hip" as wearing a cell phone on your belt.

That’s a good question. Let’s put a pin in this for now.

Since 2021 the hospital administration buzzword has been "equitable."

At my company it will be “we aren’t managing in a vertical silo, we need horizontal leadership.”

I think that means the ceo won’t take the blame if it’s rough year but will take credit for his new leadership style if it’s a success.

Coming Soon:

Chop It Up

If you're around any young folks that's what they're all calling hanging out and talking about shite.

So, when all these Gen-Z azzhats decide to bring their chill vibes to the office, you'll be hearing that one before ya know it

Direct quote from the head of the Badger's collective hits on some;

“We look at the student-athlete in a holistic way and we start partnering with them on different programming based on a host of factors ranging from their role on the team to their social media to the kind of influence they have, their passion points."

Few things I hate worse than corporatespeak.

In education, it's "student success." Now what that exactly means and how you achieve that success are completely subjective haha

Equitable and inclusive.

I'm also tired of management and elected officials saying "folks" when referring to the public in an effort to sound relateable.

Had to laugh the other day. An Eastern European CEO was being interviewed on CNBC and said "... at end of day, it is what is."

I use circle back all the time. But I was using it before it was cool.

Let's put a pin in that, and circle back after the holidays to address some of our pain points.
