I finished the sentence for you.

Which means both assemble the data and put it together in a way that I don’t have to read it.

"Cross Functional" Which means "let me get you to do my job for me and call It teamwork"
One of my coworkers says this a lot and I genuinely don’t know what it means.

Cross-functional collaboration

ETA: since the poster above me also addressed it. Just means working across different teams. In marketing, I commonly work with one or more of sales, product, customer success, engineering, design, etc. teams for a single project in addition to the marketing team.

Long pole in the tent.

Tool in the toolbox.

Looking around corners.

What got us here won’t get us there.

Actually. I hate that word. I’m not fond of “you bet” either. I don’t want to bet i want to know.

Not where I work. It means I’m going to pawn off my work on you.

Ya'll need to do a deep dive into corp cultcha.

I'm sad to say that I actually used "world class" in an meeting today. Dammit.

I have a teammate that if someone in a meeting says "reach out" he DM's me "reach around".

Headwinds and tailwinds.

Reach out…already posted but I loathe this one. Call, text, email, speak to/with. So retarded.

Dumbest of all time: it is what it is. No shite.

I’m lucky I finally don’t work with anyone who uses this bs.

Anybody still use "run it up the pole".

Had a trainmaster that said that anytime he wouldn't make a decision but would run it by his boss.

That explains a lot. My husband grew up watching football games at Camp Randall (his dad was a UW professor) and went to UW for his undergrad and graduate degrees. He now prefers to watch SEC games with me. The only UW game we went out of our way to watch this year was the Paul Bunyan game where they got the axe back. Sad to see what has become of such an historic institution.
