It is ok. You have insurance.

dayum

I don’t think the “they have insurance” crowd understands how insurance works. You still have to pay a deductible and your premiums are going to go up because you filed a claim.

Not to mention that it usually doesn’t cover stuff like this.

What is the scale? I'm seriously asking since there is no reporting on it.
I think there is no reporting on it because there isn't much of it going on. Still lots of protests, but reports from participants say the vast majority is peaceful.

Pretty sick of people saying this shite.

The "black lives matter" crowd is defending a 75 year old white guy while the "all lives matter" crowd is defending the cops who shoved him down and injured his head.

I think there is no reporting on it despite the fact there is much of it going on. Still lots of arrests but most cops interactions with most Americans of all races are peaceful.

I think that's probably right too.

I see reports in the local papers about arrests being made from last weeks riots and looting. It is ongoing. Some of them are getting hit with federal charges as well which the local DA has nothing to do with. It does seem the news has gone out of their way to minimize the coverage though.
Here is an example:
Feds arrest man accused of vandalizing Colossal Cupcakes during Cleveland’s George Floyd protests

The Minneapolis riots, alone, are reported to cost upwards of $500 million in damages, which makes it one of the most costly riots in US history, up there with the LA riots.

It is just property. They have insurance.

If they get federal charges they are screwed, otherwise these locations were chosen with care in many cases to ensure controlled DAs won’t follow through on prosecutions.

There was a reason Soros spent so much on DA races over the last 5 years...

Well personally I would say that one event a few days ago does not qualify as "much", especially not when compared to what happened a week ago. If you have more links I might consider changing my phrasing.
