Point being, you can’t win. If you’re a white person who doesn’t post on social media daily how much you hate yourself, you’re automatically racist. And even if you do that, you’ll still probably be considered racist.

Where do yall get this shite from? If you are on social media, you are getting the view of a small percentage with a loud voice.
Class divides us more than race.. In reality. The average black person with a job and family hates the welfare people and has the same complaints that white middle class people do. With that said, I think more black people, from every class, has a concern when it comes to the police.. Well, I think they worry about their kids more than anything.
This was years ago, I was 12-13 give or take a few years, but I remember this black guy my parents were friends with bought his son a car after he got his drivers license. It was an older car that was obviously a used car.. He didn't want to buy him a nice, only a few years old used car because he was worried that being a black kid in a fairly nice car would draw more attention to the police.
But I have never felt like I needed to treat black people different. I don't even think "oh this person is black I have to act like this". And like anyone else, as long as you treat a black person or any type of person with the same respect as you do everyone else.
If you treat people fair, all people.. That goes a long way. And there is no reason to not do otherwise.

As stated, i make judgments based off of appearances and actions, i THEN avoid situations that put me around people that have the mindset listed above.

I think the majority of people from all races follow these principles, but unfortunately the far left and far right fringe are the loudest and better for news ratings.

As long as there have been and will be, races, there will be racism... we can seek to make it better but it will never be totally eradicated... Until we are all the same shade of gray or what not... that’s why I did my part and made my two little mixed kids... lol

True story: I used to sit next to a black guy. Good conversation about sports and life in general. Recently, we moved everyone around and now I sit next to a white guy. He's an arse.

To this point, I have tried to live my life with an open mind. I actively seek out different points of view, and I've tried to understand from all angles. I don't want friends or family who all believe the same way I do.
But lately, I have found that many people, who have different views than me, have moved beyond the "sharing of views" and more into attacking/belittling anyone who doesn't agree with them.
Why should I take the time to learn from others, if they aren't willing to take the time to learn from me?
I think the end result is I'm going to cut out a lot of people.

Exactly.
Just like feminists, they don't want true "equality". They want to punish people in the present and future for actions of people in the past. The victim mentality of some people (of all races) and the whole "my truth" agenda is very hurtful to society. There shouldn't be a "my truth". There should only be "the truth".

Maybe you're trolling for replies but if you honestly think this then you're an misguided. As a black man, i definitely do not think a white person should come around and treat me better than the next. Treat me fairly just as you would the next person beside you. Period.
But in America its clear that people of color are not always treated equally. I can have the same credentials as my white peer and not get the same job, benefits, opportunities, or path way in life.
Even in the justice system. Kid shoots a church up and get a vest and treated kindly by cops. Guy has fake money and gets a knee in his neck for a period of time and dies.
If you feel you need to make up for past transgressions that you didn't make then you have a guilt issue. Either way, that's not your problem to solve. That's the United States. Indians barely got reparations back in 1971 and 1978. Even Japanese-Americans were given a form of reparations in 1948 due to losing real and personal property due to the war. In 1988, $20k was paid to each person who made a claim. One race was found in the United States, the other came here free will. Yet another was bought and brought here and given little to nothing afterwards.
Id rather have equality just as most, i assume, would. But that's not what happens...

Now, we are SUPPOSED to treat people of color differently. We are supposed to recognize their past struggles, and we are supposed to treat them BETTER than white people, to make up for those past struggles.
False, they just want to be treated fairly like everyone else. I don't think anyone is saying for them to have special treatment
