Ehhhh. Different kind of love. The one that got away is like that movie shite you see. Sparks flew first time, life got in the way and we both wound up with different people. The one I’m with now is someone I started dating, ended up falling for her and we have built a love. It wasn’t instant though.

I’ve been in your predicament. You’ll always wonder about her from time to time. But if you left who you’re with would you wonder about her?

Your first type.of love is the kind that brings upon irrational decisions.

The second type of love usually involves smarter decisions.

Get them both at the same place, same time.

The one you're drawn to is the one you should go with.

First you have to ask, why didn’t it work out the first time? What aspects could be repeated?

Second, you need to decide if you know what “love” is. I say this because if you “loved” your current girlfriend this wouldn’t even be a question.

You should keep your girlfriend and frick the ex on the side. See if the pussy is still good. You can make a decision or come back to the OT with some of those important pussy details.

Do you love your old girlfriend or do you love the memory of her?

There was a reason you left in the first place. Learn to be a shark and keep moving forward.

She's now a vet... beautiful, sweet, adventerous, outdoorsy, the person everybody loves to be around

Not to mention rich parents and cool arse family

Put in 3 yrs, but I was too chicken shite and immature to pop the question (I was 24)

I fricked it up like a young turd... Never cheated and would never cheat, but we lived together for 2 yrs and shite came to a head cuz I couldn't commit, so i walked like a complete idiot

Bad part is, I still love her too.
No one here can tell you which one to choose, but I can tell you that you better figure that shite out quickly.

I had 1 chick that somewhat fits the bill of the one that got away. We clearly always liked each other in high school and college but just always either one of us were dating someone or if we were both single it happened to be at a time where we were hanging out with different groups and not really thinking about getting together in those moments.

I moved away from LA after college. A couple years down the road I tried to fly her in to come visit but of course she wasn't interested as she was dating someone. I do my own thing, and the moment I got engaged, she came calling...and calling lol. It got to where she finally gave in on me getting married with about 1 month before the wedding but made me a 1 time offer to fly in to visit her with the gist of it being she'd get a hotel room in New Orleans, and we wouldn't leave the hotel room for 2-3 days, that type of "offer." It was tempting af but I was wise enough to be a no go on that offer.

Stop and remember why it didn't work.

I've been in the same situation. The second time around isn't going to end any differently.
