It didn’t work cause I left to go work in Wyoming and we didn’t think a long distance relationship could work. I came back a year later and she had started dating the one she just dumped.

I 100% agree, but your either grow together or grow apart... and I love the girl I have now, but it's the "what could have been" that I think about every once in a while

Doing good, got to dance and sing along with a good friend who plays music last night. He signed his divorce papers on Wednesday and it was great to see him happy. Going to Vegas with him on Thursday for a wedding of people I don't know. Poolside, Pam Anderson, Tommy Lee style, super OT trashy, but should be a blast.
We all think about those people. frick, I dream about him sometimes, but I don't ever want to see him again. We aren't together for a reason. Don't dwell in those memories.

So you love the girl that you are with now...but are you IN love with her? If you are just with her because you have been together for 2 1/2 years, that sounds like a relationship that is doomed to fail, especially since you are already looking back to what you had before.
You need to figure out which of these girls you are in love with...if either of them...and make a damn decision. Otherwise, you are either stringing the first girl along if you do not shut this down like you should, or you are wasting the time of the girl that you are with now for an eventual break-up.
