Did your town make the list?
Slideshow but I have SEC States listed below
Mine did, and I couldn't agree more!

Alabama - Mooresville
Arkansas - Eureka Springs
Florida - St. Augustine
Georgia - Helen
Kentucky - Bardstown
Louisiana - Natchitoches
Mississippi - Natchez
Missouri - Branson
South Carolina - Beaufort
Tennessee - Gatlinburg
Texas - Marfa

Kind of underwhelming if you don’t appreciate art - eye sore of a town but has some really good restaurants and bars. Hotel Paisano is where to stay if you visit.
Alpine, TX down the road has some charm and give you that old Texas vibe. I wish i knew about Sul Ross Univeristy when I was graduating HS
