Most recently when my daughters school friend was killed due to a fricking drunk.
I did no know her personally but it hit home. She was supposed to come over for a sleepover with my daughter. It’s easy to put ones self in the place of her parents.

Before that finding that my daughter has kidney problems. My mind ran away from me. All I could think of was her having to be on dialysis for the rest of her.

Today, I buried my dad today and I’ve kept it together since he passed away. But today he was buried with military honors and when taps was played I saluted the flag and my dad and finally lost it.

I’ve lost my dad and my grandfather in the past 6 months so quite a few times in the last 6 months. If you include the last 18 months, I’ve lost my dog, dad, and grandfather so the last 2 years have been a lot of tears.

At 66, I find my emotions more and more get the best of me. I cry every damn time I watch Saving Private Ryan. I cry at things I shouldn’t. But you know what? I’m comfortable in my own skin.

42, it was over the best damn duck dog anyone could ever hope to own.
Before that I was 27 and it was over a tall thin brunette with a huge rack. After that I swore to never get that wound up over a woman ever again.

So you’ll be around long enough to see Kentucky regain that lead against State.

Congrats, truly.

When I found out my 7 month old first born son had a terminal genetic disease. After I found out I’d cry out to God where it felt like my throat was ripping out of my neck. He passed away at 13 months. This was 11 years ago now and I have 2 great kids now, but I can be driving down the road and just lose it.

When I came home from the hospital after spending months in it. I was still on bed rest but I hobbled to the bathroom. I could see how I looked, I had sticker residue all over my chest and stomach from the monitor leads, I had patches of chest hair gone from the same patches. My hair hadn't been addressed in months, even though I am bald what was there looked like shite. I didn't eat for several months and had been in a bed for 6th months at this point so my body was just flabby skin. It wasn't just the condition, but my mom passed when I was in the hospital and I was just thinking, when my mom died, this is how she saw me for the last time. It was a rough day.

I lost my mom, my brother, and my next-door neighbor's mom (who was like a second mom to me) since August of last year. I've had a few. Pitfall of getting old I guess.

May sound strange, but first time I saw the ending of Guardians of the Galaxy 2. I was absolutely shocked those emotions snuck up on me like that.
Prior to that, few weeks after Katrina living in and cleaning up my flooded house and a little Red Cross truck with an elderly, not in great shape, couple gave me a white styro foam container with spaghetti and some sort of sauce. Walked inside the house and was overcome with emotion from the kindness of these strangers to be there doing that and it became a bit cathartic with all the pent up feelings from that terrible time period.
