My dad passed last June. He had dementia and a horrible quality of life at the end. The tears were significantly muted due to that. It was still hard letting go.

My 9 year old Labrador retriever having to be put down due to hip and spine issues that essentially left her paralyzed in the back legs.

Loved that dog, and was so hard to see her like that. The last day I was having to feed her out of my hand and carry her to the yard to potty. Honestly putting her down was sort of a relief compared to seeing her like that.

A few months ago when my mom passed away. I drove the four hours up to Atlanta after my dad called me to tell me she passed. For some reason he never called anyone to get her so I got to walk into my childhood home to see her on the floor. It sucked.

About a year and 1/2 ago when I felt like playing chicken with every vehicle I met on the road.

I was stuck in a crap apartment, overloaded with debt, crap corporate job with no vacation time and having to take unpaid days off to tend to personal matters.
I just couldn’t take the pressure that day and let a good sob session roll. But within 10 minutes I talked myself back up and within a year I was reset in life.

August 17th 2013. 2:30pm

The two LEOs knocked on my door to give me the news that my wife had taken her life.

I cried everything I had in me out over the next 2 weeks and haven't cried once since then.

Put my 14 year old dog down last June. It'd probably been 10 years since I'd cried before that.

When my daughter died. Cancer, and cried every time I saw her and after she died. Still do when I see her kids every now and then.

In car in parking lot of work when I realized I can’t do this anymore. It isn’t as serious as many things people here have posted. Went through a small depression.

In a better place now.
