Iowa is a swing state
Used to be. They’ve swung to the right though, and it is unlikely the left wins much there over the next few decades. Aging demographics and conservative leadership pushing their agenda successfully.

Accurate. My family in Minnesota are appalled by how blacks are treated in the south. But don't get them started on the local Mongolian population because it's just different and we don't understand.

That Iowa board is based
This board has turned into a bunch of libs that watch women’s basketball

That’s how they are. They’re genuinely nice and polite people and would never degrade anyone based on race to their faces, but in their trusted circles, they’ll say what they think.
This applies to a LOT of people, far from only white ones.
Now, if people are mad about seeing it...that's on them.
But the question that they should really be asking is "why do they think this? Is there something about the general behavior causing this perception?"
And I'll answer. Because they don't have the...benefit...of mostly neutral racial interactions. They might have the one black family in town they get along with. "One of the good ones."
But the rest of their observations will come from social media.
Which will be a constant barrage of packs of blacks violently assaulting people just going about their business.
They don't have the interactions with folks that don't do that. Just constant exposure to the worst of thug life.
And you really wonder why they have a poor opinion?
It's the same with kids that grow up in an all black society and the only way white people are presented are as "colonizers and oppressors."
It colors your worldview

I’m sure race is a factor for a lot of people, but a feeling of superiority over the American south is the real motivation behind this melt I hope never ends.

I’m sure the generational trend of Iowas players economically supporting the brood of the LSU players will continue with this crew as well.

It’s statistically unlikely that college graduates will ever need government assistance.

Place is 93% white and most of them live in small towns where only a handful of black folks exist, if any. They fear what they don’t know.
They know, they just don't want any of it.

It’s high time whites understand this is the way they all think every hour of everyday. Like Obama is a retard and they didn’t care; he was one of them.
I didn't vote for the guy but this simply isn't true.

Iowa voted for Obama twice. Also one of 10 states that voted for Dukakis, even Cali did not vote for Dukakis.

Iowa, fans should STFU.
University has always been very liberal, except when they make fun of everyone else for being bumpkins.
In actuality they are the bumpkins.
My sister, no pics pass away a few years ago, went there on a scholarship. She taught there for a few years. Spent time in Iowa City and it is a small rural town.
There some very nice people at Iowa. I do not want group them all in one group of pricks.
Then there a lot of them who think we are a bunch of hillbillies until Mardi Gras comes around. They all want to go to New Orleans to party and unfortunately most of the cannot come down here.
I been to all their largest towns and they have nothing to brag about.
We have a stronger economy in Louisiana than these country bumpkins.
Up there unless you own a farm, or a farmer there is not a lot of opportunities.
They will be the first ones to attend a BLM rally and say how racist everyone is. They also will tell us about white privilege. Lol!

fun fact - some of the absolute most racist people you will encounter is in the Midwest and NE US.
Don’t go comparing Iowa to New Jersey and Rhode Island. That’s like comparing Louisiana to Arizona or Utah.

The funniest part of all of this hullabaloo is that 95% of "fans" of either of these programs couldn't name a single player on their chosen team prior to them achieving a little success.
Those "fans" will likely never watch another game unless one of these programs makes another run at some point. Those who care today didn't care last month and won't care next season. The ratings consistently prove it. No need for the dog and pony show now.
