amazed the owners of those properties involved haven't stepped in and demanded at the least trespassing charges..

There are a lot of bums on Bluebonnet during the day.
When you get off of 10E at bluebonnet, it's at that corner along the canal. You can really only see it during the winter when the leaves have fallen. I saw it last winter when they had a fire going.

Yes i been to that bigger movie theater when i was in high school and think i saw South Park there. Before that one was opened though there was another one from what i was told. A smaller one that is now the abandoned building.

It was basically the biggest theater in town back in the late 80s, Siegen Place. The original building was torn down in either 2009 or 2010. The building that's now Alliance Safety Council was built in its place.
There was never a second theater in that area from what I remember, and that goes back to Siegen as a 2-lane road.

There definitely wasn't two, he is just getting the old (now demolished) building confused with the new buildings in it's place.

I grew up in that area from 1977. There was only One theater at Siegen Village and it is indeed the Safety Council building now. Opened around 86-87. I think the first movie I saw there was Throw Mama From the Train.
Sex Lies and Video tape premiered there.
around the end of the 80s you had Kmart, The UA Theater, and Mcdonalds over there. Race Track wasn't built until early 92(at 15, I got beat up in the construction site on NYE 91 for talking shite to some grown arse 18 yr olds
). Other side had Holiday Inn and Wafflehouse, then Motel 6 popped up.
The closest theater was the Essen Cinema(behind Ichiban). Saw Karate Kid II there in 1986.
