Got at least two feet of water on the ground. Starting to go down a bit. Can't get car down the road to get out though.

Not positive in that yet. I think I saw pics of range by wal mart and there was at least three feet of water.

Just drove around... Seigen by st George is really bad. Those apartments are really flooded. St George school is about 2 ft away from taking water it looks like. Lsu is bad. The bridge on state street by tiger statue is impassable. The water was to my door on dalryple between the two lakes. Stanford is impassable as the picture suggested. I have pics and will upload them soon

If you have pics of the apartment let me know. I'm on much higher ground but I have to imagine they are badly flooded.

Back end of Old Jefferson is basically Claycut Bayou.

Hwy 74 closed between Airline and 73 at Grand Goudine and at Babin. An hour ago Hwy 73 was passable to 74 but not much pass that.

Can anyone give us a summary of what areas are rising and what areas are falling right now?

Please explain that model, is it really showing another 15-24 inches for the area?
Yep. I'm skeptical there's possibly that much energy available.
It's just a model, but that's troubling. I need to check out some short range models to give you a clearer picture, but that scenario is basically a Baton Rouge Katrina.

No problem. Good to go back here so far. Those poor people in the Wren apt complex not so much, completely underwater
