yeah no bueno as i drove by there were multiple boats in the water doing rescues. plus a huge tree fell and took out all the power.

I agree on the energy left in this thing. The high pressure over Georgia is really weakening the east side, helping Baton Rouge. Unless the storm moves directly north east back over BR, I dont see another 10+ inches.

I just don't see another 10 inches. Maybe another 2-3 if this flares up but the radar is looking better for our area so it would really have to crank up again. Plus this should start moving more so even if it does maybe it would be short lived.

Water is rising in my neighborhood. Some are evacuating. We are staying put for now.

Question for flood experts...when the Amite crests where Claycut Bayou feeds into it, how bad will Claycut Bayou back up? Specifically the canals that feed into Claycut Bayou near Elliot, Vignes, etc.?

I'm trapped. I can't evacuate. Water coming in through the back door. I wish I knew if it was going to get worse. I'm a little scared right now having no way out or no where to go.
