I'm looking at Bayou Fountain where it runs behind Magnolia Lakes. It's still flowing the correct way with a strong current. From a marker I placed, the water had gone down approximately 1-2 inches in the last 24 hrs.

Any other ideas?

That isn't Santa Maria marked. Santa Maria is under the B in Bayou Manchac.

Just for reference. Here's a pic of what that usually looks like.

Also, that's not the Amite. That's still Bayou Manchac as far as I can tell from Google Earth. The Amite is over 7 miles (straight line) from the Interstate there. No way that's in that picture.

Edit: The thing you have listed as the Amite may actually be Airline Highway.

Well it must be coming straight through santa maria, because someone reliable just told me that large green patch was the 9th hole at santa maria

Summerwood is okay. Roads are still dry and Bayou Fountain has gone up some but still needs to go up quite a bit to get in the streets. Drains in the street are holding water, but still 2-3' until it gets onto the street.

definitely not the 9th hole. You can only see parts of 18 there.

ETA: you can see 16,17, and 18.

I don't think that's the Amite in your picture. I think that's Airline Hwy. The Amite should be a lot farther away.

The was a good eddy coming off the east side of the bridge on gardere. Water bubbling up. Think Burbank and myself dodged the bullet. Spanish lake took off just enough pressure

My mom just called and said that Lake Martin in Breaux Bridge, the levee has been breached.
Anyone in that area can confirm?

Dry right now. Haven't been back to the Bayou since just before noon but only saw a 3/4" increase from about 4am to noon. Still had 1-2 feet before reaching the top of the bank.

This is the gauge on Bayou Fancois @ the Pump Station. It looks like the pumps are still working. This is not far from house and hope they keep up.

Well, 18 is under water but I know what you mean

You can see the 16,17,18 group and the little green patch to the top left is the range and back right is #1 fairway

It's also on the other side of Bayou Manchac.
