I'm in a subdivision behind the Winn Dixie at Old Perkins and Airline, off 73. The water seems to have stopped rising but it's not going down here yet.

FYI Lafayette people, Cajun Market Donut is giving away a dozen donuts to each family affected by the floods. Just show up.

In-laws live in the neighborhood between millerville and old Hammond right across from the Winn-Dixie on Old Hammond. Does anyone have news about whether the water has receded in that area? Any help would be appreciated because I know my father-in-law will be trying to go back there no matter what today.

I apologize if this has been posted, but has I12 West been opened from Hammond to BR. I work on Perkins between College and Essen. Would I even be able to get to work?

Pretty sure I-12 is still closed. WBRZ still says the only way into Livingston Parish is by boat.

Anyone that doesn't absolutely need to be in BR, should stay away today if possible.

Bayou Fountain up near St Jude is still flowing the correct way and hasn't risen since yesterday.

I'm guessing this area has seen the worse of it. Thank ya Jesus!

TKE, you make it back to Westhaven? I'm headed over there around 8 or so.

Inlaws are crashing here. They live in Santa Maria. Any updates there? They are in the back near manchac on the golf course.

Not yet. I'm planning on bringing my friend back soon. I really hope it did not get any worse.

Anyone know if water in Santa Maria is still rising?

Highland Creek. My backyard touches the stretch of Bayou Fountain that passes under the bridge on Gardere.
