It's probably old news. I've been seeing a video taken from a boat on Airline at Prescott near Don's seafood in north Baton Rouge just south of where EKL used to be. It looks like there's 3-6' of water in the businesses and in the street.....and flood water as far as you can see up and down Airline from there.
I'm kind of shocked. It's much more extensive than I ever thought possible.

We are in the back of Highland Creek along Fox Run. Bayou Fountain hasn't risen in the last 8 hours or so. But obviously we're worried as hell about the backflooding. Thank for the updates, we won't be going to sleep tonight.

All that water is getting transferred to south BR now?

Does anyone know if I'll be able to get back to my place tomorrow morning? I live at Boyd place across from 333 lofts. Shockingly the place was built on higher ground, so for now my place technically hasn't flooded. Appreciate the feedback and stay safe everyone
You should be fine, I live right here and the roads are clearing up. I just went for a drive and I had 0 issues. Come from Walk-ons if possible if you do not have a truck because there is some stagnant water by the lofts and I am not sure how deep.

My best guess is that this shite is working back to the Amite via Jones Creek and will reappear in Ascension.

You bet, I will continue to be your eyes on the ground for as long as its safe. Seriously, if anyone lives in those houses backing up to Highland btw Burbank and Bluebonnet need to pay close attention.

Where is bluebonnet extension? You mean where it ties into spring hill?
Correct
I am in fairhill. Bluebonnet between Nicholson and Burbank. Water isn't in street yet but the storm drains are full to the top

I have no clue.
But if you look at flood map that was posted earlier, you're right in the edge.

The houses on highland between "The Lakes" subdivision and bluebonnet had already taken on water. The Bayou Fountain bridge into The Lakes was barely above the water line. This was around 9:30
