re: The Future of Relationships between Men and Women? Is An All Out Gender War Inevitable?

Some of y’all have a very dim view of women while simultaneously marveling that maybe some women have a dim view of you too.
That is a soul sickness, imagining the opposite sex as the enemy and accusing them of doing the same.
There are assholes out there, men and women alike… to measure the entirety of a sex based on dating apps, algorithms, or a few anecdotal experiences is a recipe for distrust and failure.
Free yourselves of this mind virus.
I don't debate my soul is sick and I'm not screwed up, I am and I know I am when it comes to women.
But women have hurt me too bad. Over the better part of 32 years they have laughed at me, hit me, called me names, demeaned me, everything. But more than all of that, the vast majority have ignored me.
I have too much hate in my heart for them now to see them as anything but the enemy. I know all of them aren't, but 80% of women in this world are just as diseased as me and we would be a better world without them. And I'm sure the vast majority of women think the world would be a better place without me and without probably about 80% of men in this world.
That's why I think it's going to get much much worse. And I don't think a man vs woman war is as nearly far fetched as many of you think. My only consolation is I know I'm not alone. Women don't understand how many men they have destroyed in the last 40 years.

I read a lot of this stuff on a semi-academic level (ie, not directly involved and with no experience in the modern app world). Here's my takeaway, it's long -
- The historic social contract is men get affection, domestic life, children, softness and women get leadership, physical/economic security, etc. Each have historically been asked to restrain themselves - men their physical advantages/impulses, flaws in emotional maturity, etc. - women guarding themselves physically and emotionally and holding those things largely back for their future husbands.
- Men built a society where women can work and were encouraged to work. Men either built or allowed women to build departments and career paths that aren't productive and tend to eat away and subvert the actual mission of the business. This is where the "adult daycare" meme comes in. Men created technology to expand optionality for women. Men did most of these things to appease and please women, and in some cases, for grander, purely economic interests.
- The result is that women can work fairly low rigor but lucrative-enough jobs, get endless attention from men who would never have interest in seriously dating or marrying them, and often use the latter to supplement a lifestyle. FWIW I don't mean the sugar lifestyle, I just mean that average women in a large city can go work a bland HR/Marketing job and have men regularly take her to dinner, buy her drinks, so forth in pretty "normal" ways and stretch a pretty meager salary into something more exciting for day-to-day life. Men can't do this, for the most part.
- The worst case scenarios this are bad, they're the social media stories of high body counts and so forth. But I think the real problem is beneath that - plenty of "normal" women can do this for years, getting attention they might never really do much acting on, none of the horror stuff. But nonetheless, they're getting the dopamine hit constantly, probably occasionally getting into relationships/situation ships that aren't destined for anything. And often their natural matches are on the sidelines or slogging it out levels below them. And when they ultimately pivot back to their "natural" matches in their late 20s or early 30s, they're bringing a lot of calluses, baggage, etc. And the men are (understandably) often bringing some resentment.
- "Isn't this how it's always been" - and there is some truth to that. We bought drinks for women. Took them to dinner, etc. I think the difference is a) women previously respected their side of the "bargain" more, perhaps out of good faith, perhaps just out of the idea of reputation/shame/having a more engrained sense of "if I go too far here the thing I want most is in jeopardy" b) the hypergamy of the apps has made what used to exist in theory almost frictionless in reality c) a combination of those things and the modern notions of prioritizing a career over family, that you can always go find a husband who won't care about what you did in your 20s, and candidly, women lying to other women.
- The last part is important because I think it'll have the biggest impact to delay the correction. The correction, I think, is a 6 guy and a 6 girl getting married at 24, slogging it out for a few years, coming into their own together, starting a family. Not the 6 girl having frivolous fun until she's thirty while the 6 guy slogs and builds a career only to have the girl come to him at 30 with baggage and go "ok, you're solid now, now I'm ready for a boring life with you with kids."
-I think we're about to have more voluntarily childless women in the next couple of decades than perhaps we've ever had in world history. I think our misery quotient for women is going to be insane. I think it's already there in many respects, and we have plenty of data for it. But I think we're going to have to endure (and are enduring) a tailing era of dishonesty where women grapple with their choices - "Oh I left my husband for my career and I'm 55 and I'm so happy!" or "I've never for a second regretted being childfree" so forth. For some that will be true. For many it will be blatant lies to avoid looking their own decisions in the face.
TLDR: Men created a roadmap for women to make men miserable, women took it, and ultimately both will be miserable. Men have mostly spend the last 2 decades doing everything women asked in the renewed bargain, while women are behaving at all-time-bad levels and breaching their side of the "social contract." Men are only just now doing anything to "enforce" it and finding they have little leverage at the moment.
Great comment and I agree with everything said. And look, I'll admit, it's men who largely allowed this to happen. I'm not saying men are blameless, they aren't. But now the toothpaste is out of the bottle and it's not going back in. Men allowed it to happen but women I think put it into overdrive, especially in the last 40 years.

I'm a happy woman with a happy marriage... my worldview is opposite yours- I figure maybe 20% are 'diseased'.
You do you, but if you're only 32 there's a lot more out there to explore in the world of companionship. Assuming 80% of women are bad apples AND assuming they think 80% of men are bad apples is a terrible way to go through life.
Seriously- go to church... not to meet women but to meet God.

I'm actually 42. But obviously when it comes to dating and relationships the first 10 years really don't count. You're not even worried about the other sex in the first 10 years. So yeah not as young as you think.

Dadgummit, man... you're old enough now to understand the incel game is miserable. Although I reckon you probably call it MGTOW.
Go to church. Join a men's group. Get some positivity going in your life. I hate seeing people choose misery.

As soon as we get the great sex doll robots, we'll be fine.

I consider myself MGTOW but not necessarily Incel. I hope you realize there is a difference. MGTOW men just want to be by themselves and live a happy life largely free of women. Maybe a one night stand every now and then but nothing serious.
Incel men are the opposite. They are obsessed with women. Women are all they think about. They would be married tomorrow if they could, but they are part of the 80% of guys who are ignored in modern dating.
I agree the Incel game is miserable. Any game where your happiness is dependent on a woman is game that is destined to make you miserable. And that's the game Incels play.
I personally hate that Incels have invaded so much of the MGTOW space. It makes for ignorant assumptions like this, but MGTOW and Incel are not the same thing.

Serious question, but if sex doll / AI girlfriends give men who otherwise would've been single and alone most of their lives at least some happiness, is that not worth it?
At the end of the day, especially in the current dating market, many guys just simply aren't going to have a chance. They might be too short, might not make enough money or might just be on the "boring" side personality wise. These are otherwise good and down to earth guys, but not the "Prince Charming" that all women want.
Should these men just stay single and lonely?

I’m sorry you’ve gone through that. Toxic femininity is very much a thing, and the fact that it is on the rise is unquestionably a harm on the world.
You are also right to take consolation in the fact that you are not alone.
But your companionship does not need to be one shared with those who are vengeful, spiteful and jaded. If you will it, it can instead be one with Christ. And I promise you, his love is far more satisfying and fulfilling than any lone wolf narrative you’ve built up in your head.

This isn't the first topic you've made like this... I've spent another night or two months ago reading basically the same arguments.
I used to follow the MGTOW stuff... it used to be actually kind of a positive movement, and it intrigued me, but I'm not getting any positivity or contentedness out of your posts.

I never said I was the best representative of MGTOW, I know I'm not. My goal is to not be as bitter. Eventually my goal is to go off grid and live off the land, but I'm not in that place yet. But it irritates me when people assume MGTOW and Incel are the same thing when they are in actuality very different.
The problem is that most of the stuff you see as MGTOW (YouTube channels, forums) are mostly Incel lite. Sadly Incels have invaded a fair amount of MGTOW.

That's a good goal.
Meet good men, make friends... church groups are great for this if you don't have hobbies that naturally require groups.
Meet God, He's waiting for you. Seriously.

To try to get this back on topic, how bad do you see the gender split getting? Do you think we get to a point where men and women live in separate societies or even have an all out conflict with each other?
Will most men trade out women for AI girlfriends/wives and will women ultimately try to retaliate by banning AI girlfriends/wives? And could that not be something that starts a significant conflict between men and women?

Any elaboration? What do you think is going to happen between men and women in the future when both sexes move further apart politically? What impact do you think technology, including AI chat bots, and eventually AI companions/robots will have?
How will men and women connect when they are sharing less and less in common and when they are both in their own echo chambers online?
If you think it gets better, how do you think it gets better? Because I don't see any way currently it doesn't get dramatically worse.
For example, I think in 5 years less than 20% of men in the 18 - 29 age bracket will be in a committed heterosexual relationship. Marriage and Children will largely only be for the wealthy.

I’m not reading all that. The only rights women have is because men allow it.
