Leave early and you'll be there in plenty of time.

Is Soooooo easy tub get out of ANYTHING these days. Just buy a positive covid test.

"Sorry can't go have covid"

I only had covid twice but "I've had covid" at least 30 times now.

College football is not important. I obviously know that. I choose to be a fan. I enjoy watching games, reading about teams, and talking about it with my friends. There are only so many games a year, and so many years in a lifetime. I look forward to the fall to enjoy my hobby. Please get married whenever you wish. If I don’t attend it’s not personal and you will be just as married. If I’m watching football and happy it will in no way impact your happiness. Everyone wins.

We`re getting married on a Friday next year. Far cheaper and avoids any conflicts with football.

I feel for you.I personally hate summer weddings due to the heat so fall was the only choice. Just have to hope to avoid hurricane season.

Best side effect of covid that happened to me. Had little interest last year. Haven’t watched a game this year.

My youngest daughter picked 3pm during the La Monroe game. My office was the venue (old antebellum mansion) but it’s in sight of the stadium so we could hear when Bama scored.

She wouldn’t have picked during an important game.

i know everyone's life is different but i don't really get this. what are you doing on saturday afternoons now that's so much better than college football? what is so different?

maybe it's different because i'm meeting up with friends at bars and day drinking or going to games just about every weekend, but i don't get the "my life is so much better now that i don't watch football" trope that's become popular on here.

If only modern women cared as much about the marriage as they do the wedding.

Got lucky, my wife suggested we elope!

There aren’t only 20 days a year where someone can basket weave

It’s just one of those things you have to suck up and do. I fully understand being annoyed though. Life’s too short to not have something to love and be passionate about

Decided to be a sponsor for a racing team and followed them around the Midwest. Picked up and learned photography & videography. Team finished top 25 nationally in the division.

Sounds like the wedding he has to go to is what is ruining his life.

Honestly, they probably thought this would have been a night game when the schedule came out.

TV fricked up a lot of weddings this weekend I’m sure.
