don't follow him to know what he's all white knighting about but he seems to take things a little on the serious side, we definitely need sarcasm emoticons, or whatever they're called now

No, that’s not the point at all.

Her point is:

“This is the reality of being a female reporter that’s not depicted on TV.”

Her point was to insinuate that the world is full of evil men just waiting to pounce on doe-eyed, pure as the driven snow, females.

There are jackasses out there. Not shite, Sherlock. However, there are just as many assholes out there of the female persuasion. THAT’S the reality that’s not depicted on TV.

No doubt, I thought the OT was supposed to a not so serious forum, I had some dude get bent out of shape yesterday because I asked why a person would need to hire an engineer when building a private home........

In mingo's testosterone-free world, there is no such thing as a female sexual predator.

Sure there is. Plenty of them do the same exact things. Doesn't make it any less weird.

She didn't post the guys name or anything.

She might as well posted it on r/cringe

i think for once i agree with you. as painful as that is to say.

this just isn't smart.
he isn't on Tinder spitting game at some rando whore.
he isn't in a club whispering into some girls ear he's danced with all night.
he isn't on date #2 or #3 with some girl he knows is throwing signals and is already DTF.

it's a fricking coworker for Christ's sake. why would you talk to her that way?

but all men should live by the motto, "would my mother or sister(s) approve of my actions?" "would i ever speak to my future daughters in that manner?" NO.

i think the young lady handled it appropriately and i'm sure this dude has certainly learned his lesson.

and i don't think outsiders with a lick of sense can or would draw conclusions that this interaction is an example of how every straight white man thinks or acts. because we don't. that's silly.

If women were back in the kitchen instead of the workforce this wouldn't even be an issue.

Oh yeah. Forgot the order of texts. True. He deserves to be taken to the woodshed by HR or canned. Not blown up on social media though like he’s Harvey Weinstein though.

I’d bet he had “professional drinks” again before he texted. Don’t drink and text.

If they met in a professional setting and the guy is an a-hole and is looking to get fired. If they met through a friend or a hook up app or other reason then all is fair game

I doubt this. A few successes get talked about no one brags about the failures. And as always your odds are always better if you’re good looking.
