I've noticed that here with Lafayette General and Lourdes taking over the family doctor offices. Service goes downhill.

I LOVE you guys, the folks Ive met from LA from the site have been a blessing

that being said

As a whole, folks from LA lack intellectual curiosity and are stubbornly proud of it
Their worldview is limited to their culture I hazard a guess that even the LA natives that have moved out of state will attest to this

I'll admit that culture is also very generous and warm also VERY comfortable for those that know nothing else

Culture. The standards of acceptability are so incredibly low. It is impossible to improve anything when the basic foundation is so incredibly low that they can't even see or understand the problem. It's a shite hole and they love wallowing in it.

Agree with all you said here. But it is not simply a lack of intellectual curiosity.
An aggressive anti intellectual attitude prevails and is sometimes celebrated.

I don’t disagree with your general premise but how is this an example of incompetence? Like what’s your expectation here?

I learned a long time ago half this state isnt even employable.

Hate to tell you this isn’t only a south Louisiana problem.

Louisiana is a different world. Especially if you’re comparing to Texas.

Unfavorable demographics ultimately ruin anything Louisiana has going for it.
