But I visited a McDonald's in Tennessee yesterday. Trust me, it's no better than south Louisiana.
I ordered at the kiosk, where there is no option to get a cup of ice water. When I picked up my order, I asked for one, and the clerk told me it would be 27 cents.

She never set up a new PCP (despite me telling her to do so) and over the weekend she came down with Flu (tested at an urgent care) and she's feeling worse and wanted to see an actual doctor not an urgent care.

Give yourself a discount on at least a couple of items every time you shop. You deserve it, as only making registers with self-checkout available is the store's way of forcing you to work for them. It's ridiculous.

It's flu. Liquid and rest, then move on after a few days. It sucks, but that's how we've treated it for thousands of years.
None of this has anything to do with south Louisiana.
Again, you conveniently failed to mention you got a new ped appointment in just 3 days, which is unheard of in any decent sized city in the west or east.

Self checkouts have gotten much better over the years. I used to avoid them because they'd malfunction constantly and there was never anyone around to override it.
They seem to have taken all of the malfunctioning things like "place item in bagging area" off.

Not like in Louisiana. People where I live value retail type positions because jobs are scarce. They take pride in their work and it shows.
Only once have I had a bad experience at my local grocery store in the decade I’ve been here for example. And the cashier was from Louisiana go figure.
