I back into my garage every day

I’m one of those people apparently. For me, it’s about a small convenience and planning for the morning.

You can back a car or big truck easier when parking than pulling forward.

Some industrial plants require it and that’s a hard habit to break. I think it’s some of that you’re experiencing.

Blue collars do it because they think it’s cool to do it.

It’s probably become more common with everyone having backup cams now

It is both safer and easier to do.

Read up on the geometry of why if you are so inclined. Or, just keep being dumb

Why is this such a big deal? It makes it easier to pull out of teh spot when you have a longer vehicle and sometimes the spaces are not deep enough. In Australia, everyone backs into spots for this very reason.

My only gripe is when people back up in a spot that has a walkway right behind it and their hitch or trailer bed blocks the walkway, then you deserve to get your shite keyed.

You have to back into a parking space, or back out into traffic.

Seems pretty obvious which is the easier way.

I have a truck and back in 99% of the time. It’s easier to get in and out.

Yeah...which probably made some sense before almost everyone had a backup camera. Now it's the dumbest fricking exercise in made up safety rules ever.
