Of course pull through parking is the better option if it's not a crowded lot. I laugh at people that back in when they could just easily pull forward

It’s delayed satisfaction vs immediate satisfaction.

I want to leave in the easiest way I can.

There are companies that require their employees back into a parking space vs pulling in because it’s safer when leaving. I work for one of them.

It’s probably become more common with everyone having backup cams now
I still use my mirrors. Don’t care how big the back up camera screen is

I got onto the habit of backing into parking spots when I was a field product support rep because some of my customers required “first movement forward” on vehicles parked on their property. The habit has stuck I guess.bot sure why that should bother anyone.

Easier to get a truck in and out of a parking spot when you back in

It makes it easier to pull out of teh spot when you have a longer vehicle and sometimes the spaces are not deep enough. In Australia, everyone backs into spots for this very reason.

We don’t live in Australia. Close though.

Easier to pull out and jack on her face.

Otherwise no chance of curbing your front spoiler of your $100k sports car.

Its mostly women or “baws” who drive big trucks but don’t know how to actually drive a big truck.

So by that logic, you are being less safe when parking.

Dumb take.

The rear end can be just as low to hit the curb.
