Looks nice. Does Destin get hit with that seaweed like Cancun does?

Give me NC outer banks with hardly anyone in sight.

GIve me the NC outer banks of my childhood, one road next to the beach front houses, one (and only one) farther inland. No multistory beach houses and often nobody in sight walking up and down the broad beach.

How do you have a private beach? I thought the state (assuming FL) has ownership of all land that is covered by regularly moving water.

Just guessing, but if that is indeed a law, the sand above where the water touches can be private, but the area where the water is may be public? I don't know, but I know the 30A beaches that I go to are labeled as private.

The water in Destin is nice. Everything else sucks.

Too many people
Too much traffic
Too expensive

This is the biggest problem with that area where all of those people are. Nothing is cheap about San Destin.

People obey it, I guess, without knowing they don't have to? I've also seen our friends kick people off of the beach (nicely)
Or you can be like this jackass and close all the beaches in the state then set up your chair in front of your state paid for beach house.

Not sure what you want. But yeah, shocker, Destin is packed on Holiday.

There are 100s of places you can go to a less populated beach.

Please provide the law being violated? Beach would have to be private, technically they are all public in Florida.

I’ve seen beach service come tell people to put down their umbrella if set up in front of beach service chairs - you can set up chairs but no umbrella- that usually keeps people from setting up chairs

Also if all beaches are public why do they have the spots roped off where people not staying in beach front condos can go?

Destin has turned more into a status thing than anything

All the suburban housewives with the 30a stickers on their 90k Tahoes can’t go anywhere else or they’ll be looked at differently
