For dudes who sold their daughters into marriage, sometimes to relatives, in order to survive

Sorry but I find it extremely tough to sympathize with folks who sell their kids

This is not a compatible society to anywhere but the middle east

In order to survive? You call selling your kids surviving? I think that was a Freudian slip by the BBC. I’d rather be dead.

Kinda common thing in poor asian countries. fricking Gross and really due to the culture's indifference to children.

What I'm seeing is this journalist seeing exactly what's transpiring in front of her and letting it happen, she literally saw these girls getting sold into slavery and writes a boohoo piece about it

After watching that piece and seeing those innocent beautiful little girls it made me irrationally pissed as a father of a baby girl.

If that’s his ONLY way at survival. He should agree to it and the moment the sick fricks show up, he murders them and anyone involved

The BBC portrays an indebted Afghan father selling his 7-year-old twin daughters into sexual slavery with adult men as a man who is forced to make difficult choices

There are several people here who need killing. First and foremost is the Afghan "father", who really is no father at all. Secondly are the people who "bought" the daughter. They need killing. Thirdly is ANYONE who portrays this as anything other than a despicable, unacceptable act that NOBODY should in any way even think of attempting to understand or approve or anything of the sort. It's sick and disgusting and the folks who do it need killing. They have forfeited their right to live.

White guilt leftists will excuse literally any behavior as long as it’s not a white person doing it. They fetishize anyone who isn’t white.

First.. it says he is selling them to feed his other children? How many kids does he have to feed? I bet he was offered a lot and that's how he justified it to himself "if I sell those two, then I will be able to make life better for the rest" but what a piece of shite. And I know the men have a bunch of kids so to some degree I am sure it gets to a point where they don't get attached to them. The mothers likely have no say so... actually they don't have a say so. He could have a wife he rarely sees, who has kids he rarely visits and just up and decide "I am selling my kids". Thats pretty sad.

Abdul's wife, herself a former child sex slave, was unable to be reached for comment. Peace be upon her.

Afghanis are easily one of the most inbred, backwards, and lowest-IQ group of people living in today’s world. They’re the absolute bottom of the barrel in the Muslim world, and that’s saying something.

What I find interesting about this stuff…..I spent 7 years in SE Asia at times working around really impoverished people. If you go to a place like rural Burma, you meet people that have absolutely nothing. Their home is like a treehouse with a water buffalo right outside.

But what’s so sweet about the people there is that they will invite you to their home to meet their children. They have such tremendous pride in their kids because that’s literally ALL THEY HAVE.

When I’ve been invited to an American’s home, you usually get the tour of the house, check out the old Impala, see an art collection, whatever. But these people don’t have any of that. Their only real pride snd joy is their children.

So I’m amazed when I see these stories. These people that have so little are giving up the very thing that means so much to them. The only thing they have of any value.

It’s heartbreaking and bewildering.

Which makes her duplicitous and an accessory.
