To some extent yes, but a lot depends on how over built/over engineered the engine which Toyota is known for over the years. They should have just used the I-Max V6TT out of the Tundra that makes 389hp.

Any pics of the gx 3rd row? All I see online is the off-road version without it.

You can find them on MotorTrend, looks like two foldable seats, guessing they wont allow for much knee or head room, or trunk space.

Holy shat…men these days. It’ll have a 3rd row for gawds sakes. I’m sure the 3rd row isn’t gonna be a roomy as the new Lexus TX crossover, but is this really a deal-breaker for You?
If so…just go get a Suburban or YukonXL so that you can keep up with mommies in the school drop-off line.

Calm down, Billy Badass. It could be a dealbreaker. Want to convince wife to get a GX over a TX so I can take it over in 5-6 years. Might be a tough sell since the kids are getting older/bigger if the rear seats are the same/worse than the second generation GX.

I'm with you want to see the third row - it better be removable. Almost bought the new Sequoia but the third row is not removable and you can't even put an ice chest in the back, much less a couple golf bags, propane tanks, or other things we would regularly want in the back.

Cmon Baw ? Jk man.
Specs say that new GX is wider & longer. Wifey should like the new rear hatch too. I personally liked the old barn door hatch…prob cause it was quirky. I’m hoping to do the same. My Wife needs to get new GX in the 2nd or 3rd model year, so I can have a little later.

We had a request in for the RX350h. My wife just told me to cancel it and get the GX.

Man the wheels in my head are spinning. I like the options being laid by Mr. T.

It’s good to have options and we haven’t had many the past 10 years. The current GX is meh. For me, the 2024 GX and TX are interesting alternatives to the 200 and 300 series vehicles.

I HATE driving around with empty or full propane tanks.

I feel like the Bomb Disposal Unit.

I never want them in the vehicle.

Looks like a shitty knock-off of an old Land Rover.

It looks a lot better than the shitty knock-offs of old Land Rovers that Land Rover is currently manufacturing

It’s beautiful imo. Thought the initial bronze/tan color was incredible but this one is just as nice.
