How confident are we on this $59-60k price tag? Sign me up if so.

Unless they are going to strip it down a ton there is little hope it comes in below that.

Wish there was a pic not covered by water.

When you build out the 4R to be as comparable as possible tot he GX the price gap is pretty insignificant. You have to really option up the 4R to get 4WD, nicer interior, third row, etc which are all standard on the GX.

Yep. 2023 and you can only get dual zone climate on 4Runner in Limited or TRD Pro trim. Kind of crazy.

Plenty of pics online. I like it…reminds me of the classic Grand Waggoneer or Tahoe lines. I can’t wait until somebody leases one and trades it in with 35k miles so I can buy it.

Not official, but it seems Toyota is bringing the smaller LC / Prado to America again soon. No idea how it'll work with the 4runner being so similar.

NA and maybe SA is the only market for the 4Runner so axing it would suck but id rather a LC nameplate anyway. With the platforms they are using now it won't be a huge surprise if its replaced.

Not a chance, they were pushing $85k in the 2021 MY and late model used are selling for $90k+.

This is the way. Find one that just hit the car pool line and back it's entire life.

I got my 17 with 20k miles on it for $30k.

yeah but these guys are talking about an LC based on the prado (smaller and more like the GX).

I am pretty in tune to the LC world and I have not yet heard about anything LC related returning to the US. The prado is just a GX, and would be between a 4 runner and a 300 LC.

Yeah, I like this 2024 GX:

Toyota has said they're content to let the 4R have the toyota market share and the GX & LX take the rest. They have no reason to have competing models across product lines. I can't see a Prado or LC making a US comeback. But i can curious to see how the TX fits in.

Love the look. I think the one in the hype photos is more of an off-road based model, really want to see the specs on it.

I hope thats it but i don't think it is. The A pillar looks like it has the same profile as the current model and doesn't jive with the released pics so far. I think it's going to be more boxy than that.

TX won’t be BOF. It’s the Lexus Grand Highlander.

I’ve heard the LC will be coming back to US and announced in mid-2024 (assuming 2025 MY) but won’t be the 300. Do they bring the new Prado here and market it as a LC? Or will it be some other design like the FJ? Unclear, but supposedly something is in the works.

Agree that the midsize/large SUV lineup will be pretty crowded so interested to see how they differentiate the models and price points: 4Runner, LC/Prado?, Highlander, Grand Highlander, Sequoia, GX, LX, TX.

Thats what i'm assuming as well.

I just hope this GX isn't a flop. I need a new one and was hoping to grab the second production year.
