Too bad you don't have many choices on where to work between Katy Mills and the Energy Corridor.

Everything about your story screams that you're the kind of person that shows up 4 minutes late and leaves 10 minutes early on the regular. Or calls in repeatedly with car problems, child care issues, illness, etc.

Do you need to start a GoFundMe for an RTIC/KODI tumbler?

Start thinking of what you did last month to cause people to start paying so much attention to your activities this month.

And if you ask for more than a week they look at you like you spoke Finnish.

Some places want you to make up your weekend shift if you took vacation??

If I must “make it up” it really wasn’t a vacation now was it?

It’s a healthcare job. That’s 2 hospitals. Katy Memorial and Katy Methodist???

The frick are you talking about?

The rest of your post screams like your that dude that’s going to retire with eight months of PTO in the bank bitching when you realize they pay out about 60 cents on the dollar.

You sound lazy.

Move to Michigan, join the UAW, and hit the picket line. Let the men do the productive work.

This is some BS for an office job. I sit at my desk and eat for 30 minutes everyday while simultaneously working for free. Now am I required to work? No but I also work 45 minutes outside of town so what the hell else am I gonna do?

Texas IS a right to work state.

Texas is also an Employment at Will state

Thank you for pointing this out. When people start bitching and use “right to work” when they actually mean “at will employment” I pretty much ignore everything else they say since clearly they have no clue what they are talking about.

Ditto. If you don’t know the difference between right to work and employment at will I’m not listening to any of your other workplace “wisdom.”

Wow, you are pretty damned ignorant. You don't have to work in a hospital. You can work at a lab, a myriad of the urgent care clinics, one of the 500 kid's clinics, etc. You just want to get out from under your particular boss, and that wouldn't be difficult. Memorial Hermann currently has openings for 290 nursing jobs, 202 PA jobs, 147 for imaging, 99 for Allied Health, 89 for Therapy, 64 non clinical professionals.

Why can't you answer the question as to what you may have done to cause such scrutiny of your actions? This is new scrutiny, and you didn't mention a changeover of bosses.

Oh I 1000% work more overtime than my allotted vacation. It’s basically about the amount of money you make, not the amount of time you are off.

Next time, think twice before you talk down on the Great State of Texas in such a frivolous manner.

You are pretty damned angry. Calm down Frances.

Everything you mentioned beside RN positions at Memorial would be a step down for me or I am not qualified for (not a PA).

I can’t answer your question? No idea why ANYONE would ever have a problem with a coffee run. Inside the facility. Takes longer to take a crap than get my coffee. I have zero idea what I could be doing wrong or different.

New boss? Yes. New/old boss. Worked here a while but not in this capacity.

What if my throat is dry from talking to patients and offices all day? Can I have a second bottle please, suh can I have some more??

The only way to get water is in the cafe? No coolers, fountains? No ice/water machine for the patients? Every time a patient needs water they go to the cafe?

Who is taking care of your patients while you’re gone?

What is your job?

Imagine thinking this is something to brag about. If I bring my own lunch I always go to an area where I'm not at my desk to eat it. Eating at your desk is pathetic at best.
