quote:

Bible was sent to death row in 2003, after a crime spree zig-zagging across the country for more than 20 years. Though he murdered two other women and a baby, raped five young relatives and claimed an assortment of other violent crimes, it was his first killing - back in 1979 - that sent him to the death chamber.

That May, Inez Deaton walked next door to use the phone and vanished, like the smoke from her killer's cigarette.

Days later, a passerby found her half-clothed body on the slope of Greens Bayou. The 20-year-old mother had been stabbed 11 times with an ice pick, then posed by the water like a broken mannequin.

We need more executions nationwide.

Texas is way ahead of the curve.

I mean seriously, murder a family member of mine and you better never go outside while you're in jail. Those chain link fence so wouldn't stop me.

That's really upsetting to hear. I wish he had suffered more.

If they can chose a last meal, I'm fine with them choosing the method. Family members of the victims should compose the firing squad.

It oughta be easy. Bullets are cheap. Put him down like a biting dog. Go outside, bang, push in hole, open next case.

If the bastard wants to admit to it than I dont get why not just go out back and do it. You want to die? Congratulations, here's your prize.

Agreed. The irony is that if you sentence them to death it cost more than life in prison (with the appeals system). Go figure.
