I’d love to see the breakdown in numbers for that, you wouldn’t think

The irony is that if you sentence them to death it cost more than life in prison (with the appeals system). Go figure.
Because a bunch of fricktards with no stake in the case get involved.

I just watched an episode of death row stories on Netflix and it was all about botched executions.
Defense lawyers crying about the first drug administered that induces unconsciousness not always working. How it’s cruel and unusual punishment and it’s against their rights.
One inmate it botched on was convicted of raping and killing a baby.
I was sitting there thinking, who gives a shite that he felt pain and suffered before he died.
frick’em. They should feel pain. They didn’t care about their victims pain.

I read that this guy admitted to a murder in 84, was sentenced to 25 years and only served 7. Committed terrible murders and crimes after he got out that he later admitted to. Pathetic piece of dog shite.

That May, Inez Deaton walked next door to use the phone and vanished, like the smoke from her killer's cigarette.
Kind of a weird time for the author to get poetic

He was caught in 1984 sentenced to 25 years for Hudgins' murder - then released on parole 8 years later, only to repeatedly rape and molest five younger relatives in the back of a converted bus.
WTF. Liberal justice system for you.

botched executions.
No such thing if the convict ends up at the morgue afterward.

I know. That's far too long. When the evidence is as overwhelming as it was for this sadistic murderer, he should be summarily executed.

quote:I don't buy that and think it's propaganda from death penalty opponents. When they figure the cost of death sentences they are counting dollars that will be spent regardless of which case is before the court. The judge, DA and Court personnel get paid regardless. The defendant often gets pro Bono representation from Capital defense lawyers.
Agreed. The irony is that if you sentence them to death it cost more than life in prison (with the appeals system).
