I don't have a story, but Pit Bulls are owned to compensate for a small penis.

I’ve had both good and bad interactions with pitbulls. They can really be the sweetest most lovable babies... but they still have killer DNA. Had to get stitches cuz one bit my head while we were playing. I love them and have a healthy fear of them, but those killers should be illegal.

At friend's house. Not rich, but doing good. His 13 years old PB was sitting on the sofa between the guy's wife and the 14 year old son of another couple. We were all listening to music and visiting. The TV was on with no sound to a football game. We all had been friends and around each other for over ten years. The dog had been around all of us, including the kid, for a decade.

Suddenly, with no provocation, the PB lunged at the kids face and in a split second caused gashes that took 14 stitches to close, plus numerous bites that took one to three stitches each.

I was sitting right across from them and it happened right in front of me. The kid did nothing. He was just sitting there watching the TV. The dog was asleep next to him. Nothing. The dog just fricking snapped.

We had a family gathering at my grand parents when I was young. My aunt was there with here pitbull. My grandpa wanted me to pet it, but I wasn't sure. He made me pet it. I petted it, and the fricker clamped down on my hand. He kicked the shite out of it, but I was pissed as hell at him.

On Christmas day I was around two of them. I played with them and one of them stayed around me the whole time. Where ever I went he would lay down right by me, fall asleep and snore. He was one muscular dog, but was like a little kid who took a liken to someone.

ex wife wanted a dog really bad. I kept telling her no but finally relented. I said "just dont get a pit bull". She went to the pound with a friend, adopted a dog, sent me a pic, and it was a fricking pit bull.

I ended up keeping it in the divorce

Had one attack my male Shar Pei once.

Pit was dumbfounded when all it got was a mouthful of skin while the Shar Pei grabbed it's throat.

That's why they have all that loose skin and small ears.

Shar Pei won. Pit would've been shot if not for being in town.

frick pits. Trash dogs.

pitbull story

It was 2016.
Endymion extravaganza.
We stayed to see him for the ladies in the group.
He sucked.
We left.
I still don't like him.
I don't understand how he has his own Sirius radio station.

Some neighbors in my Park Lane/Fair Oaks hood had pits. I opened my garage door one day, saw them outside, walked out to say hello, and saw they were breeding one with someone else's male in their front yard, in front of their kids.

I don’t have a pit bull story but I do have a German Shepard story. When I was 11-12, a guy in our neighborhood had two German Shepard’s. Mean arse police looking dogs. Had an 8 foot fence but problem is he put their dog house directly against fence. I was riding my bike one day and both dogs jumped onto the top of dog house and cleared that fence like it was nothing and the race was on. I pedaled like I never have before and was too scared to look back. Lucky for me I was fast enough and I guess they wore out but if I was on foot I would have been mauled that day.

Shoes don't belong on a chest of drawers Clean. Or as I'm sure you call it. Chester drawers.

What an adorable puppy.

sleep in my nieces bed

Regardless of the breed, that's not a good thing, and I say that as a dog lover, trainer and owner of a Chihuahua who sleeps in the bed every night. My other 2 are never allowed to do it.

It's a pack mentality thing, and a dog, especially an aggressive breed, working dog breed, etc., should not be allowed to do it.

When those dogs sleep in the same "den" as your neices, they are, at a minimum, on the same level as the girls. Dogs are not unlike humans in the sense that there are a few sacred things worth fighting over to extert their place in the world, and food, water and sleep are a few of the main ones.

Usually at some point the dog will decide to extert dominance over their counterparts, and depending on the breed, rearing of the dog, and circumstances, how they do that will vary: Sometimes it can be a simple as a dog putting their foot on top of your niece's shoe after she gives the dog a "sit" command, other times it's in the form of a mauling.

The problem arises when a breed like a pit bull takes action because they don't agree with their circumstances.

We all know who wins that fight.

It's cute, cuddly and warm to have your pup in the bed with you, but with young children and pit bulls, rots, large breeds, dogs with a history of trying out their owners, etc., I would never allow it- kids or adults.
