Tell us your pitbull story. I’m sure most people have one.

I generally avoid the frickers, but we were at a dog park once and it had a small fenced-in area inside a large fenced-in area. I was walking one of our corgis next to the smaller area and she was walking along the fence sniffing the grass, and a pitbull inside the other fence took off running straight at her and literally dove under the hurricane fence up to its shoulders and tried to bite her leg. Thankfully it had a muzzle on, but I stood on its neck and hollered at the owner to “Come get your dog before I stomp this motherfricker.” He came and dragged that crazy fricking mutt away and left the park.
I hate those fricking dogs.
Let’s hear your stories.

Had one drag his owner (about a 110 lb woman) to the ground coming after me and my then 6 year old daughter when we were walking in the neighborhood.
I got between my daughter and the dog and pulled out my pocket knife which was all I had. That dog was probably going to frick me up if he got loose but not without getting stabbed.

I accidentally killed my friend with a crossbow. I was trying to save him from a pitbull that was attacking him. The shot glanced the dog and went through the door that my friend was trying to barricade himself in.

Tried to pet one on the way to the cafeteria at ULM and it bit me in the finger. Haven’t tried to pet one since

Never interacted with one outside of my parents'.
One died at 8 due to a bad heart, so they got a new one. He's 2 now.
Both seem like perfectly good dogs to me.

The only reason I believe this is because I'm like ..... well, I threw a cane pole through my sister's nose so, yeah, that crossbow thing could hapoen.
My wife and I own a pitbull named Molly ... incredibly sweet dog. We rescued her more than a decade ago. Well, our Son found her out in the road and brought her home when he was in the 2nd or 3rd grade. He's about to graduate from college.
She's been a good dog but pit bulls that are raised improperly can be problems, no doubt about it.
Yep, threw it right through her nose. One foot sticking out one side. 11 feet of cane pole sticking out the other.

When I was about 13, a friend’s older brother had one. First one I’d been around. We put him in the truck and took him out to an old brush track for horses, where he would run for exercise.
I was used to handling Walkers, cur dogs, redbones, etc. Could easily handle them. Had him by the collar when they dropped the tailgate, and that bastard dragged me out of there and 10 yards down the track before I could let go of his collar. His strength was amazing.
The only other one I was around belonged to a woman. It was gentle as a kitten and well trained.
I generally avoid them. They are like cops. Most are okay, but some will kill you if you look at them funny.

I was coming back from the Keys, and my buddy, who was a minor leaguer in Cardinals farm system, decided let's go to Miami and hit the clubs.
So we went into one, and i see this short bald dude, and people eating his arse up. So we go over to check it out, why so many hotties around this bald midget, well, it was pitbull, and he was there for some promotion, i believe a vodka company was promoting their shite.
that's all i got, as it comes to pitbull stories

Coming from a long line of poor white trash and living my childhood on the red dirt roads of tillman's corner alabama, I encountered many a pit bull as a youngling.
Well one day, walking to Driskall's convenience store, I came across one of those pitbulls. Well being the young and retarded product of sister fricking troglodyte rednecks, I approached the beast and attempted to pet it. Well as soon as I reached out my six fingered hand, that fricker went under and bit me right on the leg.
From that day on, I hated those abominations but as bad as they were, they were nothing compared to my grandmother's white german shepard. A dog that was routinely allowed to bite me, just so my uncles could chuckle over it.
Just a little facet of Pandy. Thanks for reading.

Had a half pit half rottweiler save me from a german shepherd when I was 5.
Chased the shepherd off and came back 2 hours later covered in blood without a scratch on him.
I can say I've never been attacked by a pitbull. But I probably would have been at times had there not been a chain.

A pit tried to attack my 4 month old husky at the Cane’s dog park on Dalrymple, but was swiftly kicked in the ribs instead and owner shamed for being a pit bull sympathizer.
I was bit by a random one that got off its chain in my neighborhood as a kid as well
I’d first be looking to end the pit’s life if another attacks me or my pup.

My pit bull mix just licked my cat’s butt and my cat licked my dog’s face. They’re buds

One of the best dogs we ever had was a pit bull. Steroid-looking fricker, but we would ride him, wrestle with him, you name it.
Unfortunately, he found himself unable to resist killing a chicken or two whenever it rained. My Dad would not abide a chicken-eating dog, and gave him to a friend (who did not own chickens).
