Not to be insensitive, but millions of kids are bullied and have been bullied and they don't kill themselves.
Takes a fricked up person to kill themself.

kids at school, they make post saying how much of loser you are, all kinds of shite. Its that bad times 100000x
A couple years ago a 15 year old relative was getting bullied - basically the cool girls said she couldn't hang out with them if she continued to associate with her best friend. And other typical girl shite.
I talked to her and began to explain about how bullies are insecure and before I could finish my spiel she cut me off and said "yeah no shite, frick those girls."

True, but hormones & puberty can frick up some brain chemistry. Most grow out of it.

Gotta teach kids how to hit back. Pop a bully in the teeth with a pair of well-hidden brass knucks and I guarantee the problem is solved

Also, schools are told to adhere to very strict guidelines surrounding bullying:
1. The bully has to have a distinct size advantage over the victim
2. The bullying has to have occurred over an extended period of time
3. The victim cannot have struck back in any way, either verbal or physical, during the time the supposed bullying occurred.
So basically, if you're roughly the same size as the person who's bullying you, or if you've ever told them something to defend yourself, then they're not going to help you, because that's just considered "kids being mean" or "teasing," not bullying.

It's all the helicopter parenting and parents forcing society to give their kids undeserved positive outcomes, from trophies to grades to more time taking tests, etc. It's like when wild animals are raised in captivity and don't know how to survive in the wild, the only difference is captivity and the wild are the same environment in this case. Many kids never develop the tools they need to deal with tough situations
It is literally none of this.
ETA: And the data backs this up.

yeah i doubt helicopter parenting and participation medals led to this.

Coping skills have been a lost art for over a decade now.

FFS. Hindsight is 20/20. I can't imagine my child being bullied and my solution telling them "delete all your accounts, keep to yourself, and just live in the shadows until it's over." No child should have to do that. Yes, if the parents knew it would result in their daughters suicide, I'm sure they would have done that. No one can see those kind of things, and no one should have to make those kind of changes because of a bully.

It's literally an isolated incident. Teens have been offing themselves since the beginning of time the "reason" just changes every decade or so. CNN is just using this poor girl to push an agenda that would go on to limit free speech.

o easy for an adult to say.
if something upsets you so greatly, and stopping it only takes a few clicks of a mouse, get rid of it.
I'm on my parent's cell phone plan and I wanted to change my number. It literally took five minutes. again, if something is so bad, suck it up and do it.
For irl bullying, obviously this got out of hand and this girl had been failed by several parties.

Millions of kids are bullied to the extremes that you see in many of these cases? Bullied to the point of having to change phone numbers?
I don't believe that for a second.

I wonder if the bullies' parents knew they were mean pieces of shite?

You really think this girl didn't know who was bullying her? Come on, now. Surely you're not that naive.
I was speaking in general terms, anyway.

This. When I was young there was a kid in the next subdivision that was a bully. He bullied most of the kids around. He got me one day playing out back one day, cornered me, harassed me, slapped me around, etc. I go home with my tail between my legs like a little bitch and told my mom. She chewed me out and told me to stand up for myself. A couple of weeks later, after finding out he bullied another friend of mine, I went to his house and told him I was there to fight. He got the better of me, but I got some licks in. Within a month we were best friends. I realized he had a rough life, his step dad and his brother beat on him all the time. I got him to stop bullying other people though. He was the best man in my wedding a few years ago. All that happened back in 1982 or so.

I was replying to a post about a "difficult conversation."
How did the bullies get her new number? Something doesn't add up.
