Laker’s parents got a corrected birth certificate along with a note from a doctor, but the district says that isn’t enough.
He should have whipped it out and pissed right on their feet. Is that enough?
This whole story is absurd.
They got the legal documentation corrected, let the kid live his life.

What are we doing here? We have to possibility of getting this young man on a WNBA team. How hilarious would it be for the MVP of the WNBA to be THIS kid?

14 years late... the parents are fricking retarded and this story only exists to push against biological sex as recorded on a BC as a means to participating in sex segregated sports.
They picked, or manufactured THIS story to push a broader agenda. Don't fall for it.

But if it truly was a clerical error then it’s really tough luck for the kids family to have to pay all that money to do chromosomal testing.
All he has to do is show off his dick.

Agreed. No one wants this tranny bullshite going on, but have the common damned sense to understand the difference between an admitted clerical error and someone trying to hide that they are tucking the frank & beans in order to shower with girls and/or abuse them in sports.

That said, my son's birth certificate has an error. It says he was born at 8:00 AM when he was born at 8 PM. We inquired about getting it changed when we received the original but it wasn't a free fix. There were fees associated with getting it changed.
Same here. My little girl was born at 6:30 am but the birth certificate says 6:30 pm. I couldn't see any reason where that would matter so we just left it be.

Simple solution, get on girls bb team. Walk around locker room with dick and balls swinging freely. Within one or two locker room trips the retards will be up to their asses in parents who are up in arms about a naked boy in the girls locker room. He could speed up the process by starting to use the girls restrooms on campus. Added bonus if any girls parents have him arrested for indecent exposure. Collect check from school district and enjoy the rest of the boys basketball season.

I wonder if that happens because whoever may be typing it up is used to military time so when they see anything less than 12 it's written up as AM...
Like it doesn't happen every time, but there is one person in the state office that keeps messing that detail up.

Almost like we should be using common sense and divide sports by weight classes instead of sex.

If their whole story is legit I really feel for the kid. That’s a tough age to be dealing with something like that and it could really having long term effects on his self-confidence etc. A lot of kids already feel awkward at that age and struggle to fit in while trying to be as “normal” as possible. Doesn’t really look like puberty really kicked in for him yet and that’s gotta make things even more awkward. Hopefully he has a lot of friends.

They do that for boxing. Is a woman going to do well in her weight class with men?

What even is this article arguing? Not to adhere to biological sex in the realm of sports? And THIS is their poster child case? Idiot parents? Really??
Clearly the intent is that you should let trannies flood women's sports because maybe, just maybe, a 1 in a gazillion edge case like this just may happen.
It's basically the equivalent logical argument of saying we should abolish prisons because this one time an innocent person went to jail.

Well, he should follow the instructions of the school, join the girls team, completely dominate, and when parents have a conniption fit, he can turn around and point fingers that the school forced him to do this
School boards are worse than the HOA, full of losers and pieces of shite

Have you met someone on the level of the LA state workers who handle that?
A lot of "F**k it, what time is lunch" attitude.

He should honestly play womens bball and get a scholarship from LSU or South Carolina and go destroy the WNBA.

I don't think anyone would have an issue with a girl trying out for the men's basketball team if they were good enough.
The issue isn't women competing in men's sports — the issue is the inverse.

I disagree. Men/boys need their spaces and sports, too.
Men/boys are instinctively not going to play or compete as hard with females than without. A male basketball team isn't going to win as many games with a girl on the team against an all male team.
Also, the inclusion of females in male sports (in school) was allowable IF there were no girls teams available.

That would be female.
Asking that question is what started this shite in the first place.
