It’ll be funny when St. George makes Woodlawn a reputable school again.

The teachers union is extorting the school board in order to be the ones choosing who the superintendent is to be? Nope, nothing wrong with that at all. Everything is good here!
Exactly, it's for the 'best interest of the students' so unless they get someone they know won't rock the boat and force them to a higher standard, then they just won't show up for work. It's not hard...someone from outside may expect progress...teachers to be on time...a certain decorum when on school/school board property. They may move educators and principals in areas that are under-performing...NO...NO...unless the status quo is maintained then they just won't show up.

because it's not an election? The Board searches and appoints/votes on the position.

None of this should be surprising to them. Wasn’t it leaked that they were pushing out the old superintendent to get Kevin George months ago?

How much power do teachers unions in La have? And why do you have 3? In Ga, our union is pretty much neutered.

Well, if they do go on strike, it doesn't appear that it will impact the PE classes any.

When a teacher's union says that something is in the best interest of the students, you can safely assume that it's not beneficial to students.
