Lux Claridge’s wife, Jessica Danford, was present at the meeting when her husband was removed. “Seeing them carried out like that was a lot to handle,” Danford said

Friend Caleb Rankin said the arrest came as a shock. “Out of all the people that I knew, them getting arrested, I thought someone used a different name or something,” Rankin said.
frick this guy.
You sure about that? Without a pic I'm not ruling out it's a troon.

Landry has been championing these data centers. Still not sure what Louisiana gets from this. Short term construction jobs? Anything else?

Thought this was a decent enough talk on the AI Hype machine: LINK
I don’t agree with everything he says but it is a decent enough overview.

Unfortunately, there are some pro-data center people on tigerdroppings who probably would support this arrest.

The reason he is championing data centers is not for what LA gets, rather what Landry gets. This is LA politics at its best. These companies will build up propaganda about how great of a benefit data centers will be for their communities and the state by improving infrastructure and education, just like the casinos promised to do. Needless to say our roads and education system are still bottom of the barrel after 30 plus years of casinos in LA.

The data center people were running TV ads this weekend touting how they were going to pay for all kinds of power grid improvements that were going to lower citizens utility bills. All the ads were paid for by some amorphously named PAC.
There was no mention of all the tax breaks and other incentives they are being given.
I have my doubts.

Would think if anything this is more of a rallying cry to the community to make sure to speak out against these large data center companies corrupting the local politicians
At every meeting, the politicians need to all be asked, and provide a clear, concise yes or no to two questions.
Did you sign any NDA's?
Have you received any money?

I’m just relieved it wasn’t another teacher being arrested for clapping students.

I've never heard the name Lux before, and IDK if that's his real name or a nickname. In any case, the article describes Lux as a man, not a woman.
Lux is one of those names trannies give themselves after they switch

So do we now live in a country where some county commissioner or councilman can just announce that your constitutional rights are suspended, temporarily, then use the local police as his personal enforcement arm?
I bet attorneys are beating feet across the state to get there and sign him up.
Keep your wee fiefdom illegal pronouncements off of my rights please.

The video in the link showed him as probably about 6'3, and pushing 300 lbs. He is fat and soft. He does have a high pain tolerance. he did not flinch when the two cops started dragging him through the door by his shoulders, then the other cop picked up his lower half by his nutsack.

Sounds like Lux doesn’t know how to follow instructions.

More recent reporting and an Emporia Police Department statement indicate that Lux Claridge uses they/them pronouns. The police department even updated an earlier post to note that it had initially misgendered Claridge and stated that their correct pronouns are they/them.

It’s not about the # of platforms, it’s about their capabilities. The US is about 6 months ahead of China.
