Imagine your big announcement is a big box store.

No crime reduction, no congestion help, no road maintenance but opening up a crap store

Growing up in Chalmette I worked at the original Walmart in Da Parish. And the word back then was that the old Walmart and Sam's that was off the Read Blvd exit were the two highest loss rate stores in the ENTIRE company.

It's amazing to me that ANY retail business can stay open out there.

You mad that New Orleans is getting a target? Haters gonna hate

Target never having a location in Orleans Parish is pretty hard to believe when you consider how big Target is. I guess they aren't that woke after all. They're opening this symbolic Target in the East that will probably not last long like every other place out there. It will be nice though for the people out there while it lasts.

The Target spokesperson just came out and said although they continue to explore new store options, they haven't purchased any property out there. Latoya with another screw up/lie.

Bingo, even SFP should know you can't embarrass a Progressive. They possess no morals, accountability, or humility.

I just checked and I can't believe there is no Target in Slidell. I could have sworn there was a Target in that area. If I'm Target open a store in Slidell. It seems like much more of a priority than New Orleans.

ETA: never mind. It wasn't coming up on google maps for me but there is already a Target in Slidell.

Google maps doesn't show the Slidell location:

But this other map service does:

Weird.

ETA2: Slidell location closed.

Isn’t every business in the East a target?

BC it was a shite store but also Slidell started redeveloping in other areas and turned their back on it. They killed everything on that side by not expanding the highway.

Maximus Copium is that you? The Lowes by my house still hasn't closed but that's because everyone works and obeys the law.

But on Tuesday, Target spokesperson Jacqueline DeBuse said the retailer had not closed on any sale in New Orleans. DeBuse indicated the mega retailer might consider opening a New Orleans store, but had not committed to any development.

Those people don’t care about color. A black dude was in the news after his car was stolen.

Nola is majority black. High crime will affect them the most. Which is why this progressive bs is just bs. No one kills black people like black people. And the left opened them up to this.

If they somehow opened a store, Teedy would be outside uninvited with champagne christening a parking barrier.

This woman has accomplished nothing in all her years in office.
