Every soon to be or recent mom in my neighborhood drives one. Then they upgrade to a Lexus after kid #2. That’s really all I know about them.

They are fine cars. Nothing special but not bad either. They’re usually reliable as well.

Gay people like them. You’re an Aggie, so that should suit you well.

My wife has a Limited 4x4 and it’s an awesome SUV. No problems at all. It’s a pleasure to drive. Love the adaptive cruise control. It’s quite capable off road. We take it on the beach occasionally and never a problem on very soft sand that’s notorious for burying other 4x4 vehicles. The 3.6 VVT V6 has been a great engine.

The new ones are solid on the engine and Trans.

The issue is the infotainment system. There has been a lot of issues with them. So much so I bought highlander. The last year of the v6.

Cars are much more reliable than they were in the past as a whole but Jeep and the GC are much less reliable than other options. If you only keep cars in warranty reliability is not a huge deal if your dealer provides loaners and isn't always "out" of them.

Consumer Reports:

Since it is likely behind a paywall I will include the "show more models"

We have a 2023 Grand Cherokee L, the Summit Reserve. Bought it for Mrs. Cotten last year and we love it.
