I don’t listen to criticism from people I would never ask for advice.
I hope they enjoy aging as much as I have. I haven’t peaked yet at 44 years old.
Everyone has the life they are willing to tolerate. I won’t apologize for mine always improving.

You couldn't get them for over a decade, and could only get saline because of the manufactured health scares over silicone.

You're laughing but there are absolutely people who look at it as a "they're just too lazy to do it themselves" because you have this rash of people who are using it to lose very little weight and that helps facilitate that stigma.

I wasn't saying Ozempic should be outlawed. But there's obviously a prescribing issue to folks who don't need to be taking it. Then it gains a negative stigma as an option for people who are "too lazy" to lose it naturally.
see this is typical behavior from insecure women and on the OT of insecure men
so worried about what others take to lose weight or just to look the way they do.
why the frick do you care? maybe they arent lazy but prefer to have help to get it done faster, maybe they like the health benefits or maybe you should just mind your fricking business.
the only reason there is a negative stigma about any of this is straight up jealousy. same with HGH, TRT and steroids.
its all some form of cope.

I saw a female comedian recently and she was making comedy, but the point she was making was true. Ugly fat women used to be so pleasant to be around. They were happy and fun to talk to. Anyone remember the old Robin Harris bit about marrying a fat ugly woman?
Now, the internet and black guys have convinced them that they are hot and they have become just awful. Nasty people.

Men on a GLP are usually on HGH or TRT to maintain muscle mass

Because if you can avoid calling something what it actually is, then you can avoid accountability for your problems...which is really the ultimate goal in all of this. "I didn't eat 6 cupcakes for a snack because I can't control my cravings. It was the 'noise' of the cupcakes that I could not silence. So it really wasn't my fault."
I’m on the shot. It’s great. Here’s the thing regarding “food noise”. I’ve always been a fat frick. Still fat, just less fat now. And I can tell you I always thought about food. Like what am I eating next meal while eating my current meal. People who aren’t fat don’t think about that because whatever in their body doesn’t have them programmed like that. So yes it sounds stupid to them. I liken it to smokers. I’m not a smoker. Why can’t people that smoke just quit. Just stop doing it. Don’t be a pussy.
On the shot, I never think about food. I know I have to eat meals but i often miss a meal because i was busy and oh, now it’s bed time.
I’m not saying that as an excuse for being fat. It is what it is. Mistakes were made. Just trying to right the ship and be healthy.

Good stuff. It is about eating to survive, not eating for enjoyment. Whatever it takes to get to that point and you will be healthier for it.

I have concern when it starts to become part of an eating disorder and they end up in my office as a result. Nothing about insecurity, I know that's the cute OT thing to say. I live with someone who takes Ozempic and has benefited from it, but they've also been fortunate enough to have someone prescribing for them that has good knowledge of its utilization (and encouraged working out, lifestyle changes, etc).
We have a clinic in one of our complexes that's prescribing but they're not encouraging strength training, dietary changes, etc. It's like prescribing an SSRI without treating the root cause.
You're awfully angry about the discussion of a simple counterpoint here. Why is that?

sight, so your problem is people abusing something the way it wasn't intended. so why degrade all people on it including ones that do it the right way?

Yea my wife has talked to women who have gone on it with the goal of losing like 10-15 lbs.
I feel like you could lose that fairly easily in a relatively short period of time with some mild lifestyle/diet changes. If you need to lose 50+ pounds and need to reverse decades of poor diet, then I get it.

At what point have I degraded everyone on it? Please, by all means, look through my history and find that post.
I was just pointing out that the concern that it's being abused is a concern (even coming from shitty people).
