Not if you're busing loads like a smoker smoking at an AA meeting.

When I kicked smoking I had to give up all the things I associated with smoking. Coffee, beer, reading, etc. Your issue is a bit more primal. Maybe unplug your computer and jerk one out with no external stimuli. Maybe cut back on the jerking slowly. Maybe you focus on healthy sexual relations more.Maybe start walking or riding your bike or doing something when you start feeling the urge (tough when it's every seven seconds lol) Just try to take baby steps and wean yourself off the porn. It's not like it's not a common thing. No shame bro, just make up your mind to improve your life incrementally and do it.

We need more backstory than "im addicted to porn"

How do you know you have an addiction?

I dont have any success stories to tell you but do you have any hobbies? If so you could work on them. Find something to do every time the urge hits you to view porn. Hell maybe you could even do something that isnt very fun to eventually get your mind off. Just an example but commit to doing 25 pushups and situps every time the urge hits.

You should also change the settings on your phone, home, and work computer to not allow certain searches. There are also support groups (like AA meetings) but for porn addictions. Go to a meeting or two so you can at least see that you arent alone in this. Its unfortunate you have gotten alot of good responses so far but I wish you luck.

for me, i told my wife. I just told her i was doing it and it destroyed her. Made her super insecure and things were messed up for a while. That feeling cured me. I never wanted to disappoint her like that again. Any time i get the urge, i just think about that moment and it's not worth it.
