Today 34 more deaths have been reported to bring the total to 273. Using 34 a day as an average number I will say no.. There will not be over 1000 in Louisiana in 10 days.

You guys need to step back from the ledge....This is so stirred up over something that, SO FAR, will not be much if any worse than last years flu. Yes, the hospitals are crazy busy with scared people with a cough or SOB. No, the death rate is not out of hand locally , and especially not Nationally.
