Quiznos was good not sure why they are no longer around
They expanded too fast and their quality suffered. Which led to a decrease in sales and eventually bankruptcy. On top of that Subway was really hitting their stride and taking business away from them. The $5 foot long was an amazing deal

Well their meat is gross. I’d bet it’s 50% fat congealed with meat scraps. Then you only get two slices of that. I it’s current prices, damn sure want some quality.

Ireland's Supreme Court ruled that Subway could not call their bread "bread" in their country because of the sugar to flour ratio

Their commercials went from using regular Joe's to unlikable sports celebrities.

I don't think subway wants to bring back the people it used to use in its ads

told franchisees it will reveal plans to improve traffic and win back market share at the Thursday meeting.
Have better quality and decrease the price instead of relying on coupons.

That won’t happen though. They’ll do a rebrand or some dumb shite and have a goofy new spokesperson in their commercials

I think people have said it's loaded with sugar. But, that's a criticism of American bread in general.

Enjoy your mess Subway. You wanted to whore your brand out to every gas station in town and this is what you get.

Subway sandwich ingredients are disgusting. Ever seen the chicken breast there?

They deserve to go under

It's definitely the most suspect quality of the major sub shops and is often accompanied by McDonalds-level employees and junky, aged locations. Now that it's not cheap anymore...I'm not really sure how they turn this around.

For some reason the most boring sub shop - Jimmy Johns - is polarizing on here. But 95% of the time I'm in a JJs it's pretty new, spotless, and the bare bones staff doesn't look like they recently got of prison.

Im pretty far right but one thing I’ll agree with the left and Europe on is having increased standards in the food industry. It should be illegal to sell sodas at school and “biggie size” portions at fast food restaurants. It’s big part of the downfall of our society that isn’t talked about nearly enough.

Well, $5 footlongs are $16 now so that could be a reason

Yep. If I'm paying 16$ for a sub, it sure as frick wont be from Subway. Jersey Mike's is wayyyy better for the same price. And the food is legit

I had to work a weekend shift and would got to a Subway on the way to work.. The last time the two were behind the counter were talking their gibberish and the check out guy shorted me my change. I called him out on it.. He gave me a look of "eat shite" and said oh sorry...
I would go there out of convenience of location, but it wasn't worth it... Eff Subway.. Haven't been there in at least 6 years...
