When you hire a POS like this to sell your sandwiches, you deserve to go under

I didn’t know this. She/it should be kicked out of the country.

The Subway near me has recently been out of a lot of their standard ingredients. I asked the person if their the bread was made that day, and they said it was made yesterday. Definitely not looking good for Subway.

I tried the Firehouse near me and they are no better than Subway IMO, and their prices are ridiculous.

I had to double check menu prices here in Little Rock

not sure where you are, but those def are not the prices.

Strictly just the footlong, no meal included

Subway:

Meaball: $8.99
Steak and Cheese: $11:99
roastbeef: $11:99
Rotisserie chicken: $10:99

All combo's were 3.19 to add drink + chips

So yeah, just from my perspective here in Little Rock, I'm okay spending an extra dollar at Firehouse, Jersey Mikes, Local shop for much better and way more food

I get the coupons in the mail and it seems cheap but just don't like subway when I can get poboys or Banh mis for same price.

No shite. I haven't eaten Subway in years, but if the prices being quoted in this thread are right, I can get a Banh Mi with and egg and a side of fried rice for less than a footlong sandwich at Subway.

Bad ingredients, bad sandwiches, Subway!

People were ok with shitty food when it was cheap, now it's expensive and just as shitty.

Subway has been terrible for 25 years. They had a good thing then started messing with it to increase margin like many restaurant franchises do. They screwed it up.

Do you ever eat at Subway?

Not in several years. There are just too many better options in my area if I want that kind of sandwich:

- Jersey Mike's
- Jimmy Johns
- Firehouse
- Grocery store delis that use Boar's Head meats/cheese
- Local venues (we have a new deli that just opened around the corner)

Better yet, I can easily make a better sub sandwich at home considering what Subway uses as their product.

I stopped at Inga's in Baton Rouge the other day for the first time probably since the 90's. Had the steak sandwich and it was just like I remembered from my college days. Great bread, great meat, huge portion and reasonable price. I would choose a quality local place like that any time over Subway.

Subway bread has more in common chemically with yoga mats than it does actual bread. True story.

Well they have money to pay all those athletes to be in their commercials. Maybe cut back on that.

Need to cut the number of locations in the US in half and lower their prices. Lot of diminishing returns in terms of sales when you oversaturate a market.

Well, $5 footlongs are $16 now so that could be a reason

This may be the greatest TD response ever, I get irrationally angry when I have to spend $12 for a cold cut combo.

I walked in there to order a sandwich with chips. When I realized it cost like 13$ for it I never came back

$5 footlongs
Screwed up most of the fast food and general lunch option industries. People demanded $5 meals everywhere, making a lot of places come up with that option while jacking prices elsewhere to make up for the loss-leader.
