hat’s because it’s a guarantee they’ll ask you to back up and pull up again to make the time look good.
Every. Single. Time. It’s like they’re surprise anyone ordered a hamburger. Oh shite we weren’t expecting to have to cook a whopper today. You’re gonna have to pull up and give us a minute.

I rarely go to any of these, but BK is generally one of the quicker ones. I’d think Cane’s is up near the top.
Popeyes is 1000% the slowest.

Do the others get a participation award?

Every time I went to the one by my house they asked me to back up past the picture and pull back up.
frick that BK
frick that BK

No way. I don't believe it.

This list is bullshite.
Drive-thru speed depends on the individual store, NOT the chain.
The Wendy’s on Vererans in Metairie by the 17th St Canal is outrageously quick. The Wendy on Causeway is pathetically slow.
The ONE chain that is slow EVERYWHERE is Popeyes. I usually just get out of the car when I go. You feel like you are growing old waiting in that Popeyes drive-thru.

They didn't test a Louisiana BK - guarantee.
Definitely did not go to the one on Jones Creek.

absolutely no way is that true. At least in the south. BK is always a guaranteed pain in the arse to go to

BK by my house is slow as hell. It's like not a single one cares about their life or what they do. Which is why they work there. Having no pride in your work means you never get ahead in life.

Yeah but...from the article:
quote:
But across the board Chick-fil-A returned enviable drive-thru figures: Order accuracy: 97.3 percent (No. 1) Eye contact: 92.4 percent (No. 1) Please: 67.6 percent (No. 1) Pleasant demeanor: 94.6 percent (No. 1) Smile: 91.4 percent (No. 1) Thank you: 94.1 percent (No. 2) Favorable exterior appearance: 100 percent (No. 1) If all those No. 1s is the price for slower speed, I think any and every operator in the country would sign up. Right now.

So the difference between #1 and #10 is 80 seconds. The fact that people care about getting their rot-gut fast food a minute or two faster pretty much explains the obesity epidemic.

Burger King has always been able to handle such onerous requests as “no mayo” with ease. McDonald’s not so much.
And The Whopper remains best of breed for the 40th+ Year in a row.

Looks like Chick-fil-A management has found the next thing to fix this year.

They get a bonus if they keep the wait times under a certain point.

I had to pull over at popeyes last night because they were out of biscuits. I pleaded to the woman that "every person who comes here gets a biscuit so why do i have to pull up"
Sure enough they made 3 more people park before realizing everyone needed biscuits.
