Itd be more for the long form posts and synopsis of whats going on. One stop to "catch up" rather than dig through the thread here for example.

I hope you consider reaching out to Chicken to see if this site could support that effort. Would be really valuable to a lot of people. And great for TD.

Make sure to use colorful descriptions such as splitting vermilion bay as if it was Stephanie Abrams with her legs wide open

I'm thinking the same thing about Pierre Part, Napoleonville, and Labadieville. Where is it being fed from?

My Dad has a place halfway between Morgan City and Pierre Part and as of this morning he is still without power even thou the map shows different. His Internet is back up which was down yesterday.

WWL says it is open to emergency vehicles only, but the authorities aren’t stopping anyone.

Does anyone know when Lacox will be delivering propane? If they’re even in business? We get ours from Franklinton. Thanks

Does anyone know how the Westbank, specifically Algiers, fared? My brother is in the National Guard so he can't go take a look and my SIL is anxious to get back to their house.

Any advice on when volunteers can get down there to help would also be appreciated.

Is it worth reaching out to Chicken and seeing if yall could do a locked sticky post on top of the OT for only Duke and rdc and boat? But at the same time have this thread open for all?

Essentially the locked thread be only for storm tracking/updates?
