That is not what was said or tweeted. The drinking water and drainage are fine currently. The sewage is the problem.

She went east and I had hope that she was off track but just now the latest data shows that it shifted back west and is pretty much right back on track to hit Walker

Jesus Christ that looks bad. I didn’t sleep last night. I won’t sleep tonight either.

Is anyone in Gretna?

New Orleans is insanely dark now. I’ve never seen it without any street lights or any lights throughout the entire city. It’s country dark out.

Lock and load baw. Looters finna feast

I have a generator and my tv going to watch the news via antenna and it’s so spooky outside now I can barely see across the street. I drew all my curtains and turned my lamps off and turned the brightness all the way down on my tv. I feel like being the only person on the block with lights on makes me a target.

And yes I am locked and loaded

New Orleans Sewerage & Water Board has lost all three feeder lines from Entergy. That means the agency lost 12 megawatts of 60-cycle power to run its newer drainage pumps and is left with only Turbine 6 to make 15 megawatts in-house.

But I’m sure they have spent plenty of money on diversity training so I’m sure everything will be fine.

Well, how long has it really been "on land"?

It’s about to move back over water too. Maurepas and Pontchartrain and surrounding swamp.

So very sorry. Hang in there and know that this will pass. Loved ones are most important. Keep the focus on that. Reach out if you need a hand. Good luck.

City Council members asked Entergy New Orleans what's going on.

Repeated answer: "I don't know."

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you'll get back and find a pleasant surprise.

He's in the shite right now. Luling is getting pummeled.

quote:

Luling is a disaster zone. Roof damage is ubiquitous. Trees are defoliated or snapped. I’d be amazed if any fences are standing. Water from rainfall is starting to fill up ditches and canals.

Part of our roof is gone and water is streaming down through our HVAC system, into the walls, and down windows.

I’m lucky that we aren’t experiencing overtopped levees but I won’t count my chickens til they hatch.

Praying hard. Many tears are being shed and will be shed once this is over.

I’m sorry, and you’re in my prayers. Where do you live? Are you at the house or did you evacuate?
