We both know that by the time meemaw is in her attic swinging an ax in chest deep water, winds are nowhere near peak. Use your head

I don’t think mee-maw is going to do the calculations to determine the difference between 150 mph and 125 mph wind speeds after she lost power and can’t get the latest updates. Use your own head.

If this is the case they shouldn’t be in an attic with an ax as that option is not a good one for those you listed.

By telling them to get an axe, you are letting them know that going in the attic may result in them having to break through the roof.. and if they go that route, they better be prepared to do so..

This is a good point, I’m sure meemaw will think twice before choosing to bust through the roof with an ax.

How many didn't leave yesterday because of the traffic? Should have opened up the contraflow through I 10 in MS

Exactly. Contraflow would have allowed more people to leave, which would have saved many lives. Too many people will die because of this incompetent mistake by officials.

Graduated CHS with Jack. He was a weather guru all thru HS. Great guy and knowledge AF!

I like him. He just needs to stay in his lane with regards to politics.

He nearly lost my, and others, support and respect when he started that bullshite about South Alabama's radar placement being fueled by racism.

He's a hell of a met, though.

Things are getting intense on the Grand Isle cam. Can’t believe people stayed behind.

Yeah so instead let’s tell her to go in the attic and drown. Makes total sense

His yelling and shaking is insufferable. He's probably the worst storm chaser out there.

He's already seen 400mph winds and flying labradoodle just smacked him in the back of the head.

Which sucks because he is good at what he does. He's just trying way too damn hard to get his next "Blue Shed" moment.

A lot of people are going to die in the next 24 hours.

Even more will lose everything.

Generations of memories are going to be lost.

It’s strange watching such a disaster happen live in your living room.

I’m so sad about it all.

RIP

Can we discuss the storm and real life events, rather than someone's hypothetical grandmother in an attic with an axe?

Thx
